The second annual Morton Morton House
Awareness Day is scheduled for
April 21, 2001 from 11 a.m.
- 4 p.m., rain or shine Activities at the MM House will feature
historic interpreters in period
clothing,
demonstrations of 18th-century
medicine, blacksmithing,
and daily life along the Delaware
River,
as well as life in the Continental
Army
at the time of the American
Revolution.
Refreshments will be
available,
and artifacts from the 1969
archaeological excavation will be on display.
In addition, participants can stand
in at the stocks and pillory
to have their pictures taken ($1 per
picture).
Also available will be nifty
family history kits for 50¢ apiece.
Each kit contains directions for
starting your family history,
three ancester charts, and 10
family group sheets.
